Mission

The central theme for the creation of this new scheme for requirements engineering was that the complexity and the dependency on software continue to increase. The result is a high level of dependency on the freedom from error in the software. The Requirements Engineering Qualifications Board (REQB) has therefore decided to create uniform international standards in the area of requirement engineering. For standards are like languages - it is only if you understand them that you can work effectively. In order to now create such a uniform language in this important area of requirement engineering, international experts got together in REQB and developed this scheme.

Internationality

The scheme was developed in cooperation between several international experts. The content of this scheme can therefore be seen as an international standard. The syllabus thereby makes it possible to train and test internationally at the same level.
